This award consists of an international recognitions of all our efforts, which would be impossible without all the people that have contributed and supported us in our successful course.

C. Our fall 2005 semester was completed successfully, in the beginning of December 2005. The first wonderful students contributed their best in the launching of our activities on the island of Kefalonia and with patience and understanding they supported us in our new start. They enjoyed their time in Athens and Kefalonia and of course took advantage of any brake to travel around Greece and Europe.

In the meantime the research on Farsa about the potentials of the place has been started, as well as our contact with the local community. The local people have certainly opened up their hearts and received us with really warm feelings.

On our behalf we thank them for all their important contribution.

.

Students visit the village of old Farsa for their research purposes. During these field trips the students conducted physical research, such as measurings of the buildings that exist and defining their position on the map.

Students also envision the conditions that existed in the village and how these can be redeveloped. The local community contributed in this, by giving talks and tours about life in the old pre - earthquake village, when they were children or young people.

Meeting with Mr Vassili

One of the oldest man in the village who was interviewed by the students. Metings with the local community and representatives of the local authorities have been quite often and will be repeated several times in the futures, as required.
